Thomas Aebli joins Bank Frick’s Board of Directors
Bank Frick has expanded its Board of Directors with the appointment of Thomas Aebli. Bringing over 15 years of executive leadership experience from regulated Swiss financial institutions, Aebli’s commercial focus and product specialisms will support the Bank’s strategic positioning.
Aebli joined Bank Frick’s Board of Directors on 1 August 2026. He boasts a strong track record in senior management roles across Swiss banking and securities firms, with expertise in structured products, debt financing, and investment platforms – strengthening the Board’s capabilities across strategic focus areas.
As co-founder and CEO of Anova Partners (now part of the Valeur Group), Aebli scaled the firm from its launch in 2019 to its sale in 2023, establishing it as a recognised investment platform for professional investors with offices in Zurich, Geneva, and Monaco. In his capacity as a Board member during this period, he shared responsibility for corporate strategy, oversight, and governance.
Experience in technology-driven capital markets solutions
Prior to 2019, Aebli spent nearly a decade in senior sales roles at listed financial firm Leonteq in Zurich, culminating in his position as Managing Director and Head of Sales Structured Products for independent asset managers and funds in Switzerland. He is also a Senior Advisor at Bridge Capital Solutions AG, specialising in mezzanine financing and private debt within the Swiss real estate market.
Additional expertise for product strategy
“Banking continues to evolve at the intersection of technological innovation and regulatory rigour. Bank Frick combines both to develop sustainable, long-term products. I look forward to helping shape this development on the Board of Directors,” says Thomas Aebli. Mario Frick, Chair of the Board of Directors, adds: “Thomas’s expertise and industry insights will be invaluable as we refine our product strategy and consolidate our position as a product leader.”
Following the appointment, Bank Frick’s Board of Directors comprises Mario Frick (Chair), Rolf Jermann, Marianne Müller, Marzia Thüring-Menegon, and Thomas Aebli.
