Bank Frick expands AMC service offering to include active exchange listings

News
Bank Frick is expanding its Actively Managed Certificates (AMCs) offering: clients can now choose to have their AMCs actively listed on stock exchanges. This adds another vital component to its existing all-in-one solution, optimising market access, tradability, and distribution.

AMCs have become widely adopted as a flexible and efficient structuring solution for asset managers, fund managers, and promoters. These vehicles package bespoke investment strategies into a securitised and investable financial product, delivering high flexibility, a clear structure, and efficient execution.

Bank Frick already provides a comprehensive all-in-one solution for AMCs, so its clients benefit from a fully integrated, end-to-end service, complete with clear lines of responsibility, streamlined processes, and an established infrastructure.

Expansion to include active exchange listings

The service offering now includes the option to actively list AMCs on stock exchanges. Beyond the structuring and administration of AMCs, the service can also incorporate trading on a regulated venue upon request.

Bank Frick currently supports listings primarily on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (Börse Frankfurt) and the Munich Stock Exchange (Börse München). This gives promoters, asset managers, and fund managers the opportunity to offer their investment strategies to a wider network of banks, financial intermediaries, and investors through established trading venues. Additional stock exchanges are currently under review.

Greater market access through exchange listings

An active exchange listing significantly increases the marketability of an AMC. By listing the product on a stock exchange, it becomes more accessible, easier to trade, and more robustly integrated into existing banking and trading systems. For many online brokers, a listing is a key prerequisite for offering the product to their clients.

A major advantage lies in the expanded distribution potential. Supported by a base prospectus approved by the FMA, AMCs can, in principle, be structured for distribution within the EEA and Switzerland, provided the respective regulatory requirements are met. Bank Frick is laying a vital foundation for broader market access and the public distribution of these products.

A listing also supports consistent price and quote dissemination across major financial data providers, while delivering daily liquidity through on-exchange trading. This creates clear added value for investors, banks, and brokers alike.

Another component in the AMC lifecycle

With active exchange listings, Bank Frick adds a vital new service to its existing AMC offering. Clients benefit from an infrastructure that covers the entire AMC lifecycle: from structuring, issuance, and administration right through to listing and market access.

This move further strengthens Bank Frick’s position as an innovative, fully integrated partner for structured investment solutions.
