Certificates awarded to new Blockchain and FinTech experts
The programmes are run by the University of Liechtenstein’s Innovative Finance Lab in collaboration with Bank Frick. As a pioneer in blockchain banking, it provides in-depth expertise in blockchain technologies, digital assets, and innovative developments in the financial sector. The courses are specifically designed for professionals and executives within the financial industry, as well as individuals interested in gaining a deeper understanding of the technological and regulatory developments in digital financial markets.
Demand for highly qualified specialists continues to grow as digital assets become increasingly institutionalised, new European regulations come into force, and tokenisation gains importance. "Our Blockchain and FinTech programmes are well-established within the German-speaking region," explains Professor Dr Martin Angerer. "Training specialists in digital assets and blockchain technology is becoming increasingly vital. Our programmes help build the essential expertise needed by both the business and financial sector." "The course provides a thorough grounding in the opportunities and challenges presented by blockchain and emerging financial technologies," says Sabrina Zimmermann, a graduate of the CAS Blockchain and FinTech programme. "The exchange with experts from the worlds of academia and industry was particularly valuable."
Long-term Partnership
The programmes are part of a long-standing cooperation between the University of Liechtenstein and Bank Frick. This collaboration combines academic expertise with practical experience from the financial industry, and supports the further development of the blockchain and FinTech ecosystem. “The partnership with the University of Liechtenstein represents the building of expertise, development of new talent, and promotion of an ecosystem that implements innovation responsibly,” says Michael Dolzer, COO of Bank Frick. The next intake for the programmes starts at the end of August 2026.
