Bank-Frick Scholarship awarded at the University of Liechtenstein

Bank Frick is once again awarding a scholarship for participation in the CAS Blockchain and Fintech at the University of Liechtenstein. This year, the scholarship goes to Sabrina Zimmermann from Bad Ragaz. Out of eight applicants, she was chosen to take part in the programme free of charge.

Bank Frick is pleased to announce that, as part of its collaboration with the University of Liechtenstein, it is offering a scholarship of CHF 10,900 to enable free participation in the University's highly regarded CAS Blockchain and FinTech programme. The programme is characterised in particular by the practical transfer of knowledge on the technological redesign of existing financial systems. Students will acquire a sound understanding of networked systems and their impact on business models and value creation networks.

Sabrina Zimmermann's application was convincing

This year's Bank Frick scholarship has been awarded to Sabrina Zimmermann from Bad Ragaz. A key strength of her application was her evident commitment to advancing her expertise in blockchain and fintech following the completion of her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. During her bachelor's degree, Zimmermann developed a keen interest in technological innovations that are transforming the financial sector. During the application process, she highlighted her strong motivation to develop a deeper understanding of the potential of blockchain technology and to expand her practical knowledge with the help of the expertise of renowned lecturers.

Expertise for Liechtenstein and the entire Rhine Valley region

"The collaboration between the University of Liechtenstein and Bank Frick has been a successful model for over five years. "The significant number of participants in the continually updated course, the high demand for the scholarship and for further projects demonstrate the course's relevance for the country and the entire Rhine Valley region," says Prof. Dr. Martin Angerer, Director of Studies for the CAS Blockchain and FinTech and the MSc in Innovative Finance.
