Bank Frick again awards scholarship for Blockchain and FinTech certificate programme
As part of its cooperation with the University of Liechtenstein, Bank Frick is awarding a scholarship of CHF 9,800 to attend the Blockchain and FinTech certificate programme free of charge. The application deadline is 14 November 2021, with the course starting in January 2022.

The Blockchain and FinTech certificate programme was launched by the University of Liechtenstein at the initiative of Bank Frick. The focus is on the application-oriented transfer of knowledge in the area of technological redesign of existing financial management systems.
Students of the programme acquire a secure understanding of the new networked systems and their impact on new business models and value creation networks. The practical knowledge is broadly based and includes an overview of technological, legal and tax aspects. Further information is available on the certificate programme page of the University of Liechtenstein. The course is taught in German.

A letter of motivation of no more than 300 words and a CV (no more than one page) are required. The deadline for applications is midnight on 14 November 2021.
In its role as a FinTech bank, Bank Frick has been working with the University of Liechtenstein since 2018 to disseminate knowledge about the future technology blockchain and to further advance the development of an ecosystem. The aim is to impart the latest knowledge as well as skills for dealing with both disruptive and potentially promising technologies in the financial industry.
The scholarship of CHF 9,800 covers all fees for the Blockchain and FinTech certificate programme. It does not cover any travel and accommodation costs or fees in the event of exam retakes. Applications will be considered until midnight on Thursday 14 November 2021. The award of the scholarship is subject to the decision of the University of Liechtenstein and Bank Frick. It is not contestable. Legal recourse is excluded.
No correspondence will be entered into regarding the award of the scholarship, and the scholarship is non-transferable. Cash payment and/or other forms of compensation is/are excluded.
The scholarship holder agrees in advance to be available for promotional activities of Bank Frick and/or the University of Liechtenstein and to sign a consent for the publication of pictures and videos.
The data of all unsuccessful applicants will be deleted after the announcement of the scholarship award and will not be used for any further purposes.

In mid-September, Ethereum Mainnet will be merged with Beacon Chain. “The merge” marks Ethereum’s final transition from a Proof-of-Work (PoW) system to a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) system.

Digital payment processing – old payment slips invalid from 30. September 2022
In Switzerland and Liechtenstein, payments using the red (ES) and orange (ESR) payment slips will no longer be possible from 30 September 2022.

Bank Frick pushTAN app with a new look – clients do not have to take action
As of Monday, 30 May 2022, an update for the Bank Frick pushTAN app will be available on all iOS and Android devices. Clients do not have to take action. Login data will not change.

Revision of the General Terms and Conditions and the standard fee schedule
The General Terms and Conditions have been completely revised and amended. The most obvi-ous amendment is that any separate safe custody regulations for crypto assets are repealed and are now included in the General Terms and Conditions, together with the Safe Custody Regulations.
