Cardano Vasil hard fork – customers do not have to take action
A hard fork will be performed on Cardano’s blockchain on 22 September 2022. Bank Frick clients do not need to take any action – their assets are safe at all times. Trading Cardano via Bank Frick will be possible without restrictions.
What is changing on the Cardano blockchain?
The upgrades mainly concern the scalability and performance of the network. No impact is expected for the custody itself. The goal with Vasil is to make the blockchain faster and increase the performance of the network. In addition, the update offers easier access for developers of smart contracts, which were introduced in 2021 with the Alonzo upgrade.
